See, I bought my PSP from the store not long ago. It worked fine, everything. I saw it had wireless internet functions, so I decided to test it out. Anyway, it took me to the upgrade part, so I did, upraded from firmware 1.50 to 1.51. :)

Now, I have just realized that I cannot run any homebrew applications because of Sony's update. Of course I didn't buy a PSP just for homebrew purposes, but it's really ticking me off because I foolishly upgraded it. :smt009

It hasn't been a long while since I've had the PSP, I still have the warranty & it hasn't expired. I'm thinking of replacing it for another one at the store, but I can't think of what to do.

Someone help :smt100

I'd say return it. Currently their is no easy way to downgrade the systems firmware, and none of the updates do anything good for your system other then ver 2.0 (which isn't out yet), as that has a built in internet browser.

The thing is that I bought a bundled pack that came with Twisted Metal & NBA.

There will be loaders for 1.51 soon enough. Just be patient.

well the way i see it..........in the short term, return it, but you will want version 2.0, everyone will want it, so then you will foolishly upgrade to 2.0....and it will be like 1.5s security protection.....just give 'em a coupole of weeks and you will runn'in homebrew apps with ease.....honestly anything can be hacked if you have determination
