anyone got a idea how to read the filesystem of a 3do cd in a pc ?

ill tried the 3do m2 cd from battle tryst this afternoon but hadnt any luck with normal pc explorer or a mac tool so i think its some special thing?

some suggested to me the normal 3do tool 3dofs but that didnt work either on a iso of the original cd so iam a little running at walls =(

last option might be try to use the 3do m2 devkit cd drive but i would use that option only as last try =(

you could try if you are desperate by making a iso image and scanning it with isobuster for some kinds of cds works and finds the files you can't usually see under windows explorer.

Try using a raw data program, like a data retrieval software.

Well, the development CD's are in Mac format (which means Windows XP can't read them - it reports a bad CD), but they work just fine on a Mac, even on OS-X (though you need classic MacOS to run the actual software.)

Maybe the arcade CD's can be read on a MAc as well....

i used a programm that makes mac cds readable in pc drives and it didnt recocnigize the cd so i begin to think its really a custom format looks like i have to dig it up in the manuals how i hate that :smt022

Here's the best 3DO disk viewer I know of. http://do-homebrew.narod.ru/3DO_Commander.htm

I'm not sure if the M2 uses the same format.

Otherwise, this Japanese guy called Kashima has got an analysis (in English) of the filesystem on his website. I lost the link though, but Kyuusaku has it.
