Not really since all this stuff has been out of site and out mind for a few years. At this time it is more of a nusence since it is blocking all of my vacuum forming mahines and I need to run off rc car bodies for some people. Also, I plan on using the money to buy my baby girl a climbing structure so the money will go to good use and be something she will have lots of fun with.

...Ah well thats cool then, as long as your daughter doesn't grow up to be a tomboy, otherwise she'll kick yer when she's older for selling the family hierlooms, lol :D

I would bet odds she will be a tom boy at 9 monts old she already is enjoying dads tools. My wife was ready to kill me when I brought her in with greasy hands. No matter what I still have a lot of other stuff for her, trains, slot cars, rc cars, and real muscle cars. And yes I am keeping the R2D2 droid that actually moves to commands he is cool.

I read on another forum that someone used the square trade or whatever ebay uses for disputes and they removed the negative feedback. He paid $30 fee but at least the negative was removed.

Ah man i remember when you had to go into toys r us and all the games would be stored in the back, meanwhile youd get all your stuff with slips, thought the games were there on pieces of card board that flip and you could see the back and front cover, man those were the days. For some reason the way they stock games at gamestop and eb world isnt exciting. Though i occasionaly go to game crazy for the used stuff. Damn i wish thered be a real good mom and pop video games store.

about the toys r us, they never replaced those slip cards. Every time I saw a game with empty slip cards, I would go to the back area (where you'd get the games) and say well, "insert name here" said that they didnt finish re-stocking the cards and to see if "certain game" was in the back just in case. 99% of the time said game was in the back waiting to be bought.

Reminds me of how Circuit City is these days (they never take anything out of the back)!!

Heh, it seems that we all wanted the GBA kit (I hope that it's worth it). I only bid on it again because LeGIt stopped bidding. Sorry that you didn't get the GC SDK. I personally think that sniping should be banned, or it should automatically extend the auction time one minute.

All sniping means is that somebody else was willing to pay more money for the item than you were.

*shrugs*

I've never lost an item to a sniper because I always bid what I'm willing to pay up front. If someone bids more, bully for them because I certainly wouldn't have paid what they did. If someone tries to "snipe" with 3 seconds to go but they bid less than my max, I still win and they don't have time to try and bid up.

If you get sniped it just means that you should have bid more in the first place. ;)

I will have to respectfully disagree here. :die

I have three problems with sniping. First, yes eBay uses a proxy bidding system, so you could bid what you are willing to pay. However, eBay also allows you to raise your bid in response to other bidders just like regular in-person auctions.

Second, I should not have to use a third-party system in order to bid on eBay. I barely trust myself with my login information, let alone some system that will bid on auctions when I'm not around.

Third, sniping websites are techinically illegal in some areas. In order to allow a third party company to place proxy bids, some states require that they be licensed and bonded. I'll admit that I haven't looked deeply into them, but I seriously doubt that most sniping websites are either.

I could keep going, but this is kind of off topic. Instead, I will provide you with an affordable item for your backyard from a reputable dealer:

Yeah, I not only have no idea what stuff is worth, but I really don't know what it IS, either. :) I figured the safest way for me to describe it would be just to write what the seller called it in quotes. But it's nice to know what it actually is, thanks!

The DDH doesn't have, need or use a seperate ODEM card.

...I guess your thinking of the interface card that you need to communicate from a P.C > Dev Kit?

...The emulation is done internally not externally on the DDH :)

The real issue with DHH that's being sold on eBay is that it's a reallyyyyyyy old release that's not compatible with running anything useful :(

...And 'yes' to top that off it need's one of those old 3/4 speed controllers ;)

...All in all an expensive bit of kit.

Also how come you've signed up as being in Chile?

I thought I listed as coming from Argentina.. I'll check that out. when I initially signed up for an account I remember there not being an option for Argy for some reason. anyways about listing it in pounds - no big deal. I like pounds over dollars - I grew up in the UK.

edit: corrected. thanks for letting me know mate.

Yep, where older arcade games were stored on ROM Chips, newer ones began coming on different mediums, such as CD, or, in this case, hard disk. So to play killer instinct on an arcade, you need the arcade board, which has the processor, RAM etc. and the hard disk stores the game itself

If silver PStwos are so rare in the US.. there are still a few in the stores here.. Ive seen some at a popular E-discounter last week :) ~150EUR
If anyone is interested and its really worth it, I guess I could buy & ship one at a non-profit basis. (the shop is only 500m away).
Plus: I would like to have someone reliable on another country as a relay for ebay etc. items not available for the EU

Edit: old PS2-silver also 150€, PStwo with 2 controllers + Midnightclub3 is 250€
Another Edit: General Info:
shipping from Germany to the US: (autom. 500€ insured), runtime 6-12days
32EUR - upto 5kg
42EUR - upto 10kg
62EUR - upto 20kg

@Bert: Both Biohazard LE Dreamcast consoles hold the same grey VMS unit. The only difference is the blue STARS console + matching joypad.
So one less VMS for you to go and one less reason to get a STARS. :-)
BTW - a friend of mine spotted a Partners DC in Japan. Told him to get it but didn't got a reply since.
