Yeh, I see what your saying, although in fairness, I would expect anyone thats half interested, to check the 'facts' out for themselves, prior to bidding, on damn near any item!

...I mean, I'm glad that the guy is actually 'up front' about where the item is really coming from. You don't always see this sort of 'confession', but then I see the guys got 100% feedback so I guess he takes care in the way he lists which can only be appreciated imo.

Atari Jaguar Development Interface for Falcon 030 Proto

Atari Falcon 030 to Atari Jaguar CD Emulator Interface. This interface allows you to use your Falcon, as a CD Emulator, during development. This allows an external SCSI drive to be connector to the Falcon, which will emulate a CD Drive for the Jaguar System.

Depends how much you want it. I would just stretch to £150 if I was going for one, but wouldn't go any higher, you can import them for the same/less. But then again, you don't have to put up with the hassle of importing them with this one! :smt042

The fact that the word demo is included in the stock description makes this harder to find now that everyone uses stock descriptions, thus adding to it's "hard to find" factor. Not to mention how many of this were made? Anyone notice the green demo lettering in the top right? Never seen that before.

Just replying to a couple of posts - haven't checked in a while!

A greenish tint on the Divers means it has had something magnetic next to it and needs degaussing NOT that its had a whack.

Did you lot get your PSX CDs? I notice the trader is no longer registered - sounds fishy! Actually, I think they had some of those in the Acclaim auction.

I would stay clear buying from that guy. He won 1 of my auctions and didnt pay within the 7 days after the auction even though it was clearly stated in the auction that it was a must. I contacted him several times during that week without any replies. After 8 Days I sent an invoice and only then did I get a reply after yet another day asking for a new invoice with uninsured (cheapo) shipping. I sent it and he didnt pay. After 2 more days I sent another invoice and a day after that he finally paid. And this was a 10$ item!?!?!

Stay clear.

That may be true but his prices reflected going rates on ebay. if you look back a few in the selling thread qatty had some green debug boses fro 350 pounds. his post was 2/11.

Wasn't hi_rickys box also a green debug box if so I believe if you are patient you could find one on ebay for less. If hi_rickys ws a crystal dvt-4 dev box that would be a good deal. I know the crystal dvt-3 show up on ebay some what frequently but I have only seen one dvt-4 in the past 2 years. Also while I am not sure wat ebestdeals still has to go but he did say he had 18 pallets of dev stuff from interplay so I would bet he will be listing some in the upcoming future. Could be wrong but I can not believe with all the stuff he bought from Interplays bankrupcy there is not some in there.

Just pointing out an ebay auction of mine:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8175256815&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Sony IVO-V11 Portable CD-I unit. Not everyone is even aware these things exist, but they're nifty little pieces of hardware. I have one that I'm keeping for myself, been screwing around with it all week.

I generally assume everyone here is constantly scanning ebay for stuff, so the only reason I felt compelled to post a link about it is because this doesn't seem to be something that I'd think most people'd even think to look for. I had no idea there were portable CD-Is until like 2 months ago. Then again, a lot of people also couldn't give a flying fuck about CD-I either (I happen to sorta be a fan, for whatever reason).

the last unsealed and it didnt have the cd emulator card if i remember right was at ebay for 2600$ us and those 3do devs arent gonna be cheaper (ok maybe when the the amount on ebay reached the 10. 3do m2 dev then people will settle for lower prices =)

I've got another CD-I portable for sale.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8177962170

$100 Buy-It-Now. I have two more besides this one, we can deal on ebay or off.

My email is cforsdavis@yahoo.com, or PM me.

These are going pretty fast, one sold last night in under 2 hrs on Buy-It-Now.

Well, that auction just ended. Again in under 2 hours. Think I should raise my price, lol?

Anyway, that buyer was in Italy. He might buy every unit I have.

From what I've found, shipping to the UK will likely be $30-35 for Airmail Parcel Post, or $20-25 for Surface Post, possibly less (these are my shipping numbers to the Netherlands).

I've actually only had one US buyer, otherwise it's been France, the Netherlands, and now Italy.

If anyone is seriously interested in these things, I can get more, but I'm going to want paypal in advance to do it. I've got good feedback, I've never screwed anyone over for anything, and you can even call me on my cell phone to chat about it if that'd make anyone more comfortable with the idea.

although since the guy has 0 feedback.... i doubt he will pay. I hate people who do that (after having someone do it to me recently)

Tachikoma:

RE: the CD-I portables, an ASSEMblergames member in the UK just purchased and paid for one about an hour ago. Shipping came to $43.60 with insurance, so fairly steep.

If all current transactions go through as planned, then I am out of units. If not, then I may have one or two left over.

At any rate, I think I may post a 'group buy' on these of sorts, and see what the response is.

And from the master who brings you crap (me) yet another piece of devware
here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8178893206)is a gameboy eerpom test cart, I have some other crap for sale that's not exactly dev related, like a streetfighter2 audio CD which some of you N collectors may be interested in, and maybe not :) I think this is the last of my junk although I plan to do a final clear out of my loft on Sunday, so I'm not sure what kind of junk may turn up, some of which I will put directly on here and not on ebay for obvious reasons.

Peace out.

N!k

PS: I have also updated my Snasm auction with both snes/amiga hardware working (pics linked on the auction).
