Last time I checked, Australia uses PAL TV standard, and the US uses NTSC standard. Though most PAL TVs support NTSC nowadays, I don't know of any NTSC TVs that support PAL...so no.

or PAL-NTSC converter.
you will find it at usual places - like Lik-sang and others.

I doubt it...but I'd wait for somebody else to ring in on this, as I rarely ever deal with PAL consoles...

You might be able to modify it though...

I believe that article is what you need...thats how to modify a 50hz PAL SNES to play fullspeed 60hz...which is what we use here in the US...

Any PAL gamers wanna chime in here?

What's the big problem? It's a SNES, shell out $20 aqnd buy a US one.

Yeah, easier to mod a US one to get around the lockout, and add a 50/60Hz switch.

Might I recommend secret option 3?

Try to find a Japanese Super Famicom instead...you get the prettier model (Have you SEEN the US one?!) and it's NTSC.

I don't know why they changed it for NA. It looks butt ugly...

Heh classic example of videogame companies throwing money away in the 90's. I don't dislike the TG16 looks either, but why change that the PCE looked whey ace.
