I'm sure some of you are wondering where I've been.
I've been in the hospital. I had a kidney infection and kidney stones.
It was highly unpleasant , expensive, and I still have some issues.
I am back at home finally, but not back to work, be it on the site or other business.
I will be back on my feet after the weekend.
My father had kidneys stones a few years ago. Twice. Never seen anyone in so much pain as to need demerol.

I always wondered, do they let you keep the stones? Or is that some kind of biohazard? Maybe I'm just strange. But I know people who like to keep things, like wisdom teeth and the like.
Drink plenty of un-chlorinated and un-fluorinated water. Get well soon.

Assembler, get better soon. Hope they can release these unreleased Kidney stones, and above all hope for as less pain as possible.
Above all, hope your visit here will make you forget and feel better a bit each visit.
(My dad was able to keep them in a bottle, 10 years later and he thrown them away because he thinks its a bit weird to keep those things(like keeping your old hair or nails))

I'm not religious but i'll pray for you bro. It's deplorable you get sick so often. I'm healthy most of the time, if I could i'd donate my immune system to you. :)
You are the epitome of hanging in there.

I am much better thanks to all the medicine.
However, I got the hospital bill.
$6000 for two saline iv, some morphine, a doctor visit and about 4 hours in the er.

You do go through the wars, don't you? Glad you are better though.
That is a horrible bill, hopefully your medical insurance will cover it. Although American hospitals do seem to take the piss with charges, I had a $4700 bill for 10 hours on a trolley, a few tests, a few drips and a handful of pills as I was rushed to hospital and all I had was flu at work and had fainted. My works insurance company told them where to go and only paid half of it.

Seems like hospitals just set rates at will, absent from any basis in reality...or anything relatively aware of the current state of the economy for that matter. Several friends over the years unfortunately never came to realize the gradual black hole of dept produced in such an insignificant amount of time. My credit ain't perfect but shit...I don't dare fuck with the angencies under the medical professions wing. o_O
Sorry to hear that, get well soon! :0
Hospital bills in the US are ridiculous. $6000??? Dear Lord... compared to the conditions in Europe this is a bad joke. Any insurance would cover the vast majority immediately, I never heard of anyone receiving a bill like this. Makes those people demonstrating against Obama's health reform look even more retarded.

I remember overhearing someone telling someone to drink a lot of lemon juice when you have kidney problems or something like that...
So I googled it and found this page
http://www.health-science-spirit.com/kidney.html
CTRL+F lemon
Anyways, good luck.
