Hi I have a chance at picking up a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for the SNES in decent condition, does anyone know how much its worth?
And sorry, I cant have my forum name on a piece of paper because its not my game.

Being a pirate, I'm not sure it could be worth too much... but then again, I'm not much into SNES games.
Is it a rare pirate? (ie. hard to find, good gameplay, etc?)

Ive never played it so Im not sure about the game play but lots of times a game doesnt have to be good to worth money. From what Ive seen on youtube though it looks pretty basic compared to the actual Sonic games.
As for how rare it is, I dont know that either other than there are non on eBay and that there doesnt appear to have been one on there since 2008.
The last Pirated game I saw on there was a Final Fantasy 3 for the NES and it sold for just around $150 or something like that.

I think it's really dependent on what it's worth to you as a collector's piece. Most Nintendo bootlegs are rare, but ultimately not too valuable. Out of interest, what was the guy asking for it?

He's asking $100 and its a local seller so no shipping.

Yeah I would say $100 is probably too much but that's just me.

Yep. Everyone is about spot on. Compared to regular Nintendo products, naturally it will be a bit more rare but not $100 rare. They are still easily obtainable in areas where licensed software is hard to come by.
