Found this on Ebay today, never heard of it. It looks like a handheld game system which instead of a crosspad and buttons, uses a stylus to play the games with. Anyone have any info on this?

The seller is from these forums, so maybe you could ask him?

HERE I AMMMMMM :)
As a portable consoles collector , for a while i used to think Bandai only released 3 portable cartridge based systems and i used to think the first one was the WONDERSWAN form 1999. All this is NOT TRUE :)
The first cartridge based console launched from Bandai was the DENSI DANGAJUKU and yes i can ask you what i know. If this can give you an idea on its rarity ... i only collect portable systems from the last decades and i own near 350 different ones. But i only listen about the DESIGN MASTER / DENSI MANGAJUKU in recent times.
I own the ROCKMAN 3 edition (not the original) and the original is available for sale on EBAY. Now i can say YES , I HAVE ALL THE BANDAI´S handheld consoles :)
And some games:
Let´s see the BANDAI´S portable consoles history a little after this first console from 1995...
Most people as i mention believe it was the first.. now we know it was not.
This is the FINAL FANTASY II edition, the one i own .
I have the WINE version, love the color .
But there was a monochromatic system launched by Bandai in 1995 as you see, some years before the WONDERSWAN.... very strange in concept. It used to have touch screen, and 2 kinds of cartridges that can be used alone or in junction: cartridges G (games) and cartridges M (design). Cartridges M allow you to create your own MANGA or ANIME series , original or mixing it with popular characters as Rockman or Street Fighter.
The interesting part is that cartridges G, allow you the use of these design in complex games. I have the ROCKMAN 3 version and i can draw and design ROCKMAN weapon, then i can use it for fighting against enemies. It is a very unknown handheld system and the concept was VERY INTERESTING. At some point , not open source, but allows you to create and design your own games and characters on the go.
It was called the DESIGN MASTER (DENSI MANGAJUKU) , as i mention i feel very lucky to get one , the ROCKMAN III edition.
You can see a video of this system in action here:
And these are some of the cartridges i found for it:
Right now you can see one of the original units at ebay (SEE EBAY DISCUSSION FOR LINK), not the following themed edition but the very first released model. As you see is extremely rare and collectible.
Bandai also launched a lot of BARCODE based consoles and recently some mini consoles related with TREASURE GAUST franchise. Some of these systems use chips or battle chips but not cartridges.
So the DENSI MANGAJUKU is one of the most unknown cartridges systems in the handheld history and was a pity as usual, it was not launched outside of Japan. It was the first cartridge based , dot matrix system launched by BANDAI and not the WONDERSWAN as most people believe.
Yes it is extremely rare and unknown and the most obscure part of the BANDAI HANDHELD history, and it is incredible how the first cartridge system from BANDAI (first GAMEBOY COMPETITOR from BANDAI in other words) was so obscure. The concept is unique as most of Bandai´s creation: no buttons, touchscreen and great graphics with some of the best japanese franchises.

This thing looks SWEET. Perhaps the LCD and Dot Matrix would look dated, but the touch based commands do put it ahead of its time.

Thanks guys, always ready to contribute any info i have about the portable gaming my main interest. I am not so good making videos, sorry :( I will try to do another better one , and try to do my best. Anyway as it was mentioned i will keep my ROCKMAN 3 version and i am selling my unused original BLACK version at ebay, hope the owner has a better english and video camera than me :P
The interesting fact for me is that if we compare handheld against handheld, Nintendo vs Bandai, we found:
Wonderswan - Gameboy Pocket
Wonderswan Color - Gameboy Color
Swancrystal - Gameboy Advance
So we can put the DENSI MANGAJUKU together with the GAMEBOY PLAY IT LOUD or DMG 01 , in terms of graphics. Of course Bandai always try to innovate and was very original to present a touch screen based handheld in 1995. Also.. it is a portable , but can you see some resemblances with Playdia in the line design?
I consider it one of my collection favorite pieces due to the rarity and due to the strange and original concept. Also , not only collectors value.. the ROCKMAN GAME is VERY funny .Street fighter the same. I still don´t open the rest.
