I've noticed there is quite a demand for them. If you have money and a specific copier in mind contact me. Chances are I can get it and refurbrish it for you.

an interesting topic.
You have read my other post on the IPL rom, What would you recommend for such a thing assuming I could get my hands on the rom image.
I am a beginner with this n64 stuff so go easy on me. the Dreamcast was more my bag.

Well first you'd need to find out if there is extra hardware inside the cassette. If there is additional hardware, then of course a copier cannot emulate it. If there isn't any then your average Dr V64 Jr can definately emulate the cart, you might be faced with an abnormal security chip though as well.

what's the going price on a V64 or CD64 then? I guess a Z64 would be acceptable too.

anything for Mega Drive?

V64 is from $150-$300 generally depending on condition and completion. CD64 is slightly less, up until last year CD64's maker, UFO, was selling their last model (CD64 Plus) new on their website for $130. Z64s are always slightly higher because people seem to like them best. Z64s can still be bought new for $400, without a ZIP drive, used can find them for around $200.
Up until recently the Super Wild Card dx2s were also still being sold by their maker, FFE. They sold all their remaining stock (200 or so) to a Taiwanese shop, now prices have inflated. These will set you back $300+ (new) last year you could one up for $210 or $230 shipped.
For Mega Drive I have many Super Magic Drives, but most of them broken. I don't think I can sell any of my stuff like that. I can get Mega Drive flashcarts ($200) although, that and Multi Game Doctors (~$200 a set), Double Pro Fighters ($200 new), Multi Game Hunters etc ($120)

hmm, dodgy link!! They had the MGD2 for $45 but have sold out... damn!!
Oh, and I can get a new Z64 for under $300 without ZIP, and I thought that was expensive!!
I could've got a CD64 recently, new for $130 but I hesitated!

Retro I have multiple MGDII sets I'd sell, not cheap though. If you're looking for just the main unit, I have a Tototek MGDII, its not pretty. Do you just need the system or I/O too?
