ok here goes i bought this pirate GB cart for some days ago

and i was told there was 82 games in that cart (yeah right ;-) :smt042)

the truth is the first 8 on the gamelist are the only games there are on.

and the other names are not even hacks they are just names on the GB cart list and in the GB cart menu

so the list is as follows

1:FELIX THE CAT
2:FERRARI
3:MARIO AND YOSHI
4:MS PACMAN BY NAMCOT
5:FLIPULL
6:KWIRK
7:LOOPZ
8:NFL FOOTBALL

and i am sorry for the grainy picture quality because since the weather in DK is grey at the moment so are the webcam shot.

if it was sunny it would be a lot better.

there are no rom hacks as i said read please again.

here is a big fucking gamelist with 82 game titles

Ok so, 8 games repeated with different names in the menu. Still same as one of the carts I have.

The only GB pirate I own is a single cart F+1 Race. Really odd, because I'm fairly sure it's a pirate (uses odd stuff, so when dumped won't work in an emu) yet it really doesn't look like one.

GB Multicarts are fairly common and I deliberately avoid them.

are those really that hard to find? in mexico you can get them everywhere, eveb easier to find than original ones :-D

Someone used to sell half decent pirate GBA multicarts on a local car boot sale for Ģ20. He'd get shafted every now & again buying what looked like the same multis but with old crap on (more than half his stuff came in that game usa packaging). He used to knock them out for a fiver when they had no new stuff just old GB/C crap on & also let you try a cart out before you bought it. Those crappy ones were the only ones I bought :) Got busted late last year though, along with at least one gang of CD/DVD pirates.

I came across some pirated GB carts on a store near by this week (don't know if they are GB, GBC or GBA games though). But i think they were multi-carts.

Any of you want me to check the prices?

Not me, but if there's some really ugly pirate famicom stuff next to them I'd like to know ;)

My friend collects pirate carts, especially for older systems, SNES, GB, GG, Megadrive, NES and so on.

Has loads, says the hardest ones to find are GG ones, but he has one Lynx pirate cart and hasn`t seen any info on lynx pirates apart from that.

If i'm not mistaken they were costing 50 Reais each ( 20 dollars ). I'll check it next week.

As for Famicom carts, i'll keep my eye open :smt023

I see GG pirate carts way more often (like the 30-in-1 that I have) than Lynx pirates, in fact I've never seen those at all! VB piracy is another thing about which I have only heard rumours.

I see GG a lot more often than SNES. I half remember something about a Lynx cart... I'd really like to see a piccy of his.

I will speak to him about a pic of the lynx cart, if I remember correctly some guy started producing and selling a lynx cary with about every known game on it, in the last couple of years, but his cart was bought years and years ago and has about half a dozen games on it.

He didnt actually have any GG pirate carts till I gave hiim one I got for free ages ago, he has quite a few SNES pirates though, again will ask for pics.

I've seen pirated Atari 2600, Famicom (Famicom Shaped and NES shaped), Genesis, SNes, GB, GBC, GBA and pretty much every Post PSX disc based system in the black market. I'm pretty sure I've seen lynx and Jaguar games in at least two "stores" there, but not sure if they're pirates.

Next time I go, do you need me to be on the look for anything in specific?

VB pirates, THAT I'd love to see. I'm on the look for VB carts, pirate or original. Will tell you if I find something dodgy looking.
It was so much easier to find cool Fami and GB multicars back in the day... now they don't even have a properly glued label.

I'll stay alert for whatever I can find.
