Thanks,

The hdd limit is 137gb but just install the hdd then run the recovery disc.

meaning I would need a "legit" recovery disk?

You can use DVD-r's of recovery disks. Ive done it plenty of times. (Obviously, anyone reading this with a retail xbox, don't go doing that please kthx)

Thanks I'll have to find it now because I plan on swapping the HDD sometime this week.. I only have the remote recovery I'm guessing the recovery disk is an image you burn from one of the xdk's?

The recovery is a iso you burn.

blueshogun96 shared recently two recovery discs in dowloads forum:

I am searching the last version of the recovery disc, i don't know if 5933 is the last one...

And btw, i have to done the big disc change soon. I was thinking the new Hd must to be locked before or something...

Is only plug the IDE disc and run the recovery? (I suppose the disc make the partitions and locked the disc an all the process...)

Way I did mine was pull the eeprom from the debug and ran xboxhdm on it to lock it then popped it into the debug unit and ran recovery and it went great! Not sure if that was really needed tho just be sure to select the correct info on the screen when the recovery disc has been booted... There's a 4 digit # or something like that on the debug motherboard you'll want to note that # as you'll need to select it right before you proceed with the recovery!

LOL How so?! Oh well that PSU in that debug box of mine just bit the dust so I'm lookin for a 1.0/1.1v PSU to toss into there!
