Probably a little basic for most people here but I'm appealing to the nostalgic market.

Plus it's my first ever magazine and iPad app (usually do iPhone) so didn't put too much work into it incase it got rejected by Apple.

I'm hoping to turn each issue into a huge encyclopaedia of knowledge over time.

I don't have an iPad either. I've never seen my own creation on the actual hardware.

Just a bit. I have simulator and a few phone cam videos from my tester.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick an iPad up either at the end of this month or next.

All native XCode and Objective-C.

I had a look at Titanium once but I didn't understand the thing at all. Never heard of Phonegap.

I much prefer doing things natively, easier to maintain control and I've being doing it since the birth of the App Store so seems silly to change now.

I don't know any HTML code so it's a bit beyond me.

I primarily know HTML/CSS etc so for me, I use Phonegap to develop my apps. It's nice to basically take stock HTML and turn it into native apps. I wish I had the time and resources to learn more native code and build apps truly natively...

Yeah there are so many coders out there fluent in all sorts of languages but taking the leap to XCode and iOS is a big one indeed.

Even after all of this time I still don't know what I'm doing half the time. Apple keep changing things, sometimes not for the better. I'm lucky in the sense that I have a good network of online friends who also do iOS dev so we're constantly helping each other out.

I had a friend saying something similar yesterday. Although my statistics show that people have been using promo codes.

It's iPad only so iPhone 4 will return it.

Same. I'm all for jailbreaking. You can do alot of cool shit with it, but then you get pirates who are fucking cunts and just steal everything. Its one thing to pirate from a corporation who won't miss the few thousand sales and thats bad enough. But they also steal from small indie developers who rely on the sales.
