Thought I would shre the information. Just received in two builds of Conkers. This was from the Rare action recently on ebay from the guy selling all the debug games. Anyways, thesee two builds of Conkers from 3-2005 and 5-2005 contain Bad fur day. Teh jade empire in the lot has Conkers live and reloaded on it. Anyone know if these builds had short cut keys for debug built into it?

Thanks a lot macwest, now I'm hankering for a play through of Conker's Bad Fur Day. Glad I just finished fixing up my XBox.

There goes my week.

Been using the N64 guide to see how close this is to the original. I ended up with 2 builds one from march and another from may will be interesting to see if anything else changed

Loaded up a retail copy and have been playing for the last hour. The screen shots you've shown so far look like retail aside from the font used in Berri's scene there. Though that might be because of differences in seeing it on a 480i CRT TV and whatever you used to capture it.

Used xbox screen capture tool. I suspect this was an early port over to the xbox. Eaxh section gives hints on what keys to use.

Wish they had released this on the xbox. I think many people would have enjoyed it.

I'm not sure I follow, this game was released on the XBox.

No, just saying I wish the beta version I have for the xbox went to release. From what I understand, these versions I have, are from when microsft took it over and had Rare do a port. These never made it to production.

Are they many differences then? I must admit from what you have shared so far it looks / sounds very much like the retail version. It has been many years since I played the game so could have missed something obvious.

The comment Conker makes about it not being a straight port is in the final game and all the screen shots posted are identical too. When Microsoft aquired Rare they were working on a sequel which got shelved and they made this remake with the added multiplayer mode for MS instead. It was released in June 2005 so the two builds you have aren't far from completion and i'm guessing they were probably more for testing the online modes rather than the main game. The one big thing that did get changed in development for the single player was the audio, originally it was intended to be completely uncensored but for some reason they changed it and it became more censored than the N64 version.

When was bad fur day ever sold to public? I never knew they did nor ever saw that in stores.

Bad Fur Day was included as part of Live And Reloaded, it was the single player part of the game.
