Everdrive MD not working

Hey guys,
A friend of mine recently got an everdrive brand new from Krikzz directly we just got it out yesterday and popped it into a original NTSC Jap MD 1 and we turned it on and got a black screen nothing more...

We have another NTSC US MD1 and we got the same problem
they are both fully working MD units original not clones, so i then got a Q tip out and some alcohol as i read in another post to clean the connects but to no avail.

Is the card a DOA or is there something else i am doing wrong..

you need send it back to me for repair/replace if you assured that is really does not work.
