SG-1000 & Game Gear Support?

Are either of these formats supported? If not, is it possible? If possible, is it probable in a future firmware update? Thanks!

SG-1000 is supposedly possible, but requires ROM editing/patching. Read here (http://www.smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=62205), also the colors of SG-1000 games aren't 100% compatible on SMS.

Hey, thanks for linking my thread! But note that that thread refers to SG-1000 mode on Sega Master System hardware. I'm pretty sure SG-1000 support on the Genesis/Mega Drive is impossible because the TMS9918 video modes aren't available. There are some SMS games that don't work with a Power Base Converter for that reason, i.e. because they use the SG-1000 video mode: F-16 Fighting Falcon, a few Korean unlicensed games, maybe some others.
