Nah. It's a playable demo. It has the entire Dollet Radio Tower mission playable, but this disc is a bit of a sought after item, since it has a few funky differences (probably for non-spoiler reasons). There are two different versions (not counting language differences here now) of this demo. One reflecting the retail version of the game and the other being the same as this one.

It's usually referred to as the "Escape from Dollet" demo, with its name taken from a line in the tiny credits sequence at the end of the demo's ending FMV.

One of the infamous changes being the fact that it has the "early version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojGPRovZZUM)" of the track "The Landing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h8ZeYyRkIU)" (you know, the one people accused SquareSoft/Nobuo of ripping off of Hans Zimmer's "Hummel gets the Rockets (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm4thC-a4Ec#t=4m28s)" - from the Michael Bay movie "The Rock")


The other slightly more noticeable difference is the fact that your party is slightly different from the retail (not wearing their SeeD uniforms and Rinoa already being part of the crowd). This is of course common practice in demos, even FFVII has a wide variety of playable chars in its demo sections (anyone up for a Bombing Mission w/Aeris?), but the more curious thing about this demo is that the FMVs actually properly reflects all the changes.

(Sorry about not finding better YouTube uploads of the vids. Problem is that the game engine produces the music in those scenes, while only the sound effects are part of the FMV stream. So there are few good in-game representations of them on YouTube.)

The disc is Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine demo disc #47 for August 2001. I think there was also a demo disc from Pizza Hut that had the FF8 demo, too.

I have the US version of this, I think it came bundled with Brave Fencer Musashi.

I recall being absolutely blown away by the Leviathan summon in the demo back when I first saw it.

If you liked to played it demo level Then You will have als find it online through. I think that It would be better way for you. It would be also not worthy for you. I have also gotten it couple of months ago. I had been so far as I have seen. I hope that You will get it as well.
