Clear PSX Shells

I want to buy some clear psx console shells. I'm looking for black, blue, green, purple and white, possibly red too. I'm located in the US, and the only sites I've found that have these cases, ship to UK only. I'm hoping someone here might know of a good site that has the cases and ships to USA.

That would be awesome. I believe I found a site that sells blue, and they have some sealed dreamcast controlers too. Need to put some cash in pay pal then we'll see.

Yea this is the site I was talking about. The only proble is the only ones I'm interested in that they have is blue, maybe turquoise but no pics of it. Idk if other colors will come back in stock... I mean this is psx we're talking about.

Thank you for the link, guys! I was planning to do this for over a decade, and finally got my blue and turquoise shells. NCS shipped my order fast and packaged it in gazillion bubble wrap bags.

Blue shell came with two matching little PSX logos. Turquoise came with none. I didn't mind, since I transplanted multicolor original logos from gray shells.

I tried to move 7501 board, but it's not really possible, because screw holes are not matching. 7501 has a smaller board then 5501 and 7001. No idea about 9001.

I transplanted 5501 and 7001 boards with no issues whatsoever.

Turquoise shell looks good with green power led, but blue shell doesn't. I'll replace green led with blue or white when I have time.

Yeah. I have 1001 and would like a turquoise clear shell but they are nearly impossible to find.

Hi, if you live around Toronto, you can often find clear shells (usually unpopular colors: yellow, green, pink etc.) at specialty game stores like Gamerama and Game Kingdom. I wanted a clear gray shell, but only found bright yellow. The price was pretty good at 9.99 CA$

I have question to people who use color shells for their original Playstations: did you try to do something about fugly gray memory card / controller ports? Would fabric dye method (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27301) by alecjahn work?

there's a decent number of official translucent cards that would match pretty well.


Me, personally, I'm searching for a clear ps2 10k shell.. amusingly i had one years ago for my first ps2 which i modified it to fit (since it was a us model)
