PS3 Retail to Test Firmware flash. Is this possible?

Hi all,

I could have sworn I read somewhere else on the internet that you can put a debug/Test PS3's firmware onto a retail unit, but I can't remember if that allows you to then play Dev/preview/review copies of games on it.

Is such a mod actually possible? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! :icon_bigg

That's a shame though :( Hopefully the latest 'developments' in this field may help the cause. Seems like until then, spending £600+ on a TEST PS3 is the only answer! :banghead:
