The Xbox 360 is *way* overpriced and the seller has no clue what s/he's doing.
Pass.
1) It's a refurbished/used system, not a new arcade (note the chrome trim).
2) It's a Falcon (not a Jasper). If you're at all worried about RRoD get a Jasper. No one can 100% guarantee that an older model is RRoD proof.
3) Seller claims to have installed custom heatsinks on the RAM, yet in the photo s/he shows a heatsink on the *NAND* chip. If someone is going to claim to be a modding expert, s/he's not going to mistake the NAND for RAM.
Big tipoff that this is an amatuer job right there.

Cheers to both of you guys...
Will Pass..
Yeah that this is definitely ugly, and not worth it. And apparently everything pre bought is now custom when put into a console.

faceplate doesn't match, & does the nand even get hot enough to warrant a heatsink?

Might as well chuck some sinks on the caps, for all the good it will do.

The NAND gets up to around 111 degrees, but it's not bga which is why the stuff fails that over heats.

yea and when those lead free solder balls get hot, bad things happen.
don't jaspers now have copper balls instead of that lead free crap?
oh and thanks hl718 for clearing that up.

oh, wow... that guy as absolutely no idea what he's doing. The case mod is nice but you can do it yourself. The rest of the "cooling mods" are total garbage.
Heatsink on the flash rom? Are you kidding me. Also, he put a freaking fan sandwiched right between the clear plexiglass and the heatsink. Fat lot of good it's going to do there.
Save your money, don't bother with this dork.

Lol yeah, I was like. Wut.
Plus 12v fans are loud and horrible...
My tip for 360 logevity is to not play too long at a time.

Sorry but that's a pretty bad tip... What breaks the system is the thermal stress on power up and power off. So the more you turn it on/off the faster it fails.

honestly the RROD fix he used was crap! the only decent one ive seen that made any sense at all was the hybrid kit.
