Chances are there is nothing wrong with it. The Power Glove sucked and never worked in the first place.

Finally! I'm useful for something!!!

First thing is first, do you have the code book for it? That should tell you everthing you need to know!

I'm pretty sure, when you have it on, the default setup would be....

Move your hand up down left right to go up, down left, right.

Bend thumb inward (like underneath your other fingers) for "B"
Bend in pointer finger for "A"

Oh yeah...There should be a center button!

THIS IS ALL FROM MEMORY---MY POWER GLOVE IS AT HOME!

To Center:

Hold your arm straight out in front of you, around the middle of the TV/Sensor Zone...not too far away, not too close...4 feet maybe?

(you should see the directional indicators on the sensor thingee registering directions)

Push the center button. The direction indicators should go off. Then move your arm up, or down, or left or right, and the LEDs on the sesor SHOULD relfect your movement. I hope that helps. Any more questions? Let me know!

I wouldn't recommend being really close. ...if you look at the front of the glove, I believe the gloves sensor thingees are behind those grating jobbies...so, if you are really really close...I imagine it won't be able to send its signal out.

so if i was lets say no more then 2 feet away do you think that might be whats causing it not to work at all? cuz if thats the case ill try it again when i get home from work...

I wouldn't be that close to the TV if at all possible, but if you're not getting any response from the glove (not even from the finger movements), you probably have a problem with your glove.

You HAVE programmed it, right? It doesn't do much unless you program it (and no, it doesn't play close encounters or whatever like on the wizard! :D). You do have a manual, right?

I'll dig mine out, dood.

Last time I checked, retro, doesn't it by default have the standard configuration setup?

(Move with arm, a/b with pointer/thumb...and I believe start is make a fist, and pull back...)

Er...if worse comes to worse, try pushing PROGRAM 001 and then ENTER twice. I'm pretty sure thats a pretty simple button layout.

Yeah, if you're just experiencing crappy control, its not the glove being broken, its the design of the glove. Its just not that great.
