Misc HU Cards - Japanese (obviously?) - £30 for the lot

This is a Japanese console, I'd give it a 8/10 for condition.

However, this particular console has quite an odd modchip - it'll boot any PS2 games - but won't boot any PS1 games or DVDs. This could be solved by removing the modchip, but I've not been brave enough. Or someone might not require the ability to play PS1 games and DVD functions. It has a romero chip to stop the lens burning out, and I'll include a brand new spare laser I have from another slim.

Asking £SOLD.

Try holding the reset button while booting, that is how my modchip boots into ps1/dvd mode, maybe its the same.

No such luck. :(

Know of any other odd things to do?

EDIT: Actually, it seems as if pressing the reset button changes the mode. It's just booted my legit NTSC-J. I'll try some other discs.
