I've found out that my accident injuries require surgery, and soon.
All site and ebay related activities will be on hiatus.
The procedure has a 4-6 month recovery period, with
around 40 days in bed.
In the meantime I will be leaving Paulo in charge of the forums.
This is in effect immediately.

Hopefully not a dangerous surgery, just a long (and peaceful) recovery. And if it is back/neck surgery like I suspect it may be, whatever you do DON'T try to use a laptop or cell phone while recovering.

Wow, don't know what to say... At least you found it before it could turn into something worse.
Best of luck and I hope you recover well, try to get some rest and avoid worrying about anything, you know you put the boards in good hands.

All the best for the op, you must be in a serious amount of pain to go for that, I'm sure everything will go just fine

Just don't ask them if they want to see your TOOL. Unlike members of this forum, the nurses might take it the wrong way! ;)

I watched the videos, and that surgery looks pretty major. I'm no doctor, but that doc in that video was poking at things in the spinal nerve column just to identify it to the camera audience - maybe ask that your surgery isn't recorded on video for general public consumption :)

Thanks for all the kind words. This is the third, and hopefully final surgery
to fix the problem. This time it's nuclear strength. I will either triumph or
be an invalid, but I need to see where my path lies.
