I've seen a few MVS carts with Neo Get pocket boards used as daughter boards. What were their purpose, and which games sometimes had these?

Making an adapter board with NGP header allowed them to update the game's program ROMs in-system with the existing NGP cart programmer.

Wow, that's actually pretty cool.

My MVS copy (transparent cart shell) of Metal Slug 3 has it for sure.
Don't know about any of the other Slugs since I'm not about to go opening up my carts.

Very cool. I didn't know they used NGP boards in the carts. I do remember seeing one in my kof2000, but I didn't think too much about it at the time.
