These were the linited edition Japanese ones.....50000 there were

Complete with all the Gates gumpf

Prices vary as they are Jap only unless you mod them

I saw one of them today in the used shop for 13'000 yen. was going to buy it since it's fully boxed and has the DVD kit.

I found one with all the extras + dvd kit + digital cable + 5 games but without the box for about US$300. Less than a new ordinary Xbox here in Brazil

I think I'll get it.

Speaking of Xbox, does Japan have some nice exclusive games for the system? I must say I'm not really attracted by the Western line-up of games :smt019

There are a few Japanese games but most of he stuff is all the western shite that you gys get. Don't really bother looking at the XBOX or PS2 stuff really. Only look at the DC and Game Cube stuff when I go shopping.

well the PS2 does get a healthy share of Japanese-style games isnt it? Silpheed and R-type Final even got a PAL release, and of course there's Hyper SFII :smt033

Heh AntiPasta, I too have Silpheed and R-Type Final for the US PS2, and am looking forward to the US version of HSF2. I love 2D shooters, too bad ThunderForce VI was never made for the DC.

Speaking of Limited Edition Xbox, does anyone think that the new US translucent green Xbox will worth anything in the future? It's $169 with Halo, and Microsoft announced that only 200,000 units will be made.
