Hey Everyone,

ATI Radeon HD 3450 benchmarks say they can run Doom 3 at Ultra setting (1024x768) at about 34fps. Does that mean its safe to say a lowly game like Dynasty Warriors 4 would run just fine on the card?

I can't say personally about doom 3, but I own the 3450. If you are going to get one make sure you get the 512MB version. It seems to run most games decently, though I normally have to run Need for Speed Most Wanted at its lowest resolution.

512MB is needed for Ultra on Doom 3. I ran Doom 3 max on my 7900GS so I'm going to guess yes? I dunno ATi's stuff as well so I dunno.

I'm guessing DW4 would run but.....why????? and why on PC?????

What if its powered by an Intel Atom 270? Probably takes more of a performance hit?

I have a HD3200 on my laptop with a Turion64 X2 Ultra and 4 gigs of ram and it runs alot of stuff just fine on higher settings (nothing newer though)

Get a Radeon 4650/4670 or 3850/3870 instead. Many times faster and still very cheap.

I'd second that becuase a 3450 isn't really meant as a gaming card. Even a 3650 would be better and is fairly cheap and can run doom at 1280x1024 ultra quality as seen here in this review http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=985&num=4
