How would i connect a DEV or a DEMO Kit to my computer?

Worth noting that you techincally dont need the full SDK if you just want to transfer stuff :P

Lol you have no clue what the SDK is? Thatīs the Software Development Kit for your PC. Itīs very important, otherwise you can not transfer Data to the HDD etc.

Like I said, the Xbox Neighborhood tool can be found without the full SDK ;)

I have a SDK. I have had it for a while just never ued it because i have no need at the moment. And would i just pulg the ethernet cable into my dev kit and my pc then open the SDK and all the file on my xbox would be there?

For modding Halo 3, with the crappy modding programs publicly available. NO. So far 3 "kids" (14 and under) have bought kits and begged me for closed research. Well they just waisted their money.

Two things. This thread is about how to connect it to a PC not how good i am at it and secondly i am learning C++ so i will be able to make games soon

Learning C++ and developing on the Xbox 360 are two diffrent beast's.
You will need to know C++ then the in's and out's of Direct X, the Xbox 360 SDK is based off a custom Direct X 9.
