What a hardware difference of standart Dreamcast and Dreamcast special editions (2006)?

If you're talking about the dreamcasts that were sold with eg Trizeal, Chaos Field, Rajirugi & Under Defeat, they're just refurbished Dreamcasts.
(Dreamcasts sent for repair to Sega, original user got another one, these one were repaired & tested before selling them back as refurbished ones. "Might have some usage marks", Sega said...)

They we're originally for sale in SEGA Direct (now closed).
