Dual monitor questions.

So i have a ATI gfx card connected via dvi to vga to my 21" crt monitor and have the tv-out connected to my 28" crt tv and have a few questions needing answered.

1. the picture going to my TV is black and white unless i have a fullscreen video playing on it and i don't know what setting(s) to change to get it in colour all the time.

2. If i can what setting(s) do i need to change so i can game via both screens (monitor+tv) showing half of the picture on each or whatever instead of both dispalying the same picture.

I am using the latest ATI catalyst drivers.

1. I think its a NTSC/PAL setting somewhere in your extra/advanced ati screen settings.

2. I am not sure you can split a game over 2 screens just like that, but if you choose (extend my desktop at screen 2) then you at least don't have the same thing displayed on both monitors.

thanks for your help, i've got the colour issue sorted out.

i know its possible to get a game displayed on 2 screens as its discussed here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/dual-display-gaming-bigs,759.html but i don't know how to do it.

That really only works on certain games, plus ideally you have two identical monitors.
