Would this be good to try for my 1st time soldering??

Its a device to convert Keyboard and Mouse input for use with a Xbox 360. It looks simple enough, and ive watched a few tutorial videos online on how to solder, so what do you guys think?? Is this a good project for me to solder for the 1st time ever, or should i just take the lazy way out :icon_bigg and call my dad and see if he will do it for me??

well, the chip just showed up yesterday, and me being the impatient ass that i am, i decided to just try it myself instead of waiting until the next time i see my dad. Andoba, you were right, the points were TINY!!! Having never soldered anything in my life, i was definately nervous ( I thought for sure i was gonna fuck it up, but i am happy to report that i got it all soldered together and it works like a charm:icon_bigg!!) WOOHOOO!!!!! im so proud of myself lol. ( i really need to get a life)
