Its quite hard to find any info on this one.So far i only found 2 pages on it,1 on unseen64 and the other on some spanish website.Did this game ever get released in any form?It looked like a very cool game, would have been a sega made horror survival.Heres the links(1st one is in spanish, scroll down a few and you wll the screen shots.

wow and i thought i knew every unreleased dreamcast game. but just read the spanish info, this game uses the "emotional communication system" ...
so yeah indeed is this game from sega, they have always funny names for their "revolutionary features". remember the "full reactive eyes entertainment" FREE?
anyways, back to topic, it looks a little bit like blue stinger and the graphics are typically 1st generation dreamcast, but i guess it would've been an interesting game. but i think that sega dropped the game, since they were busy with a dozen other games they were developing, plus there was already resident evil 2, 3 and code veronica coming, D2 and Carrier, would've been a bit crowded in the "horror" sector.

actually you can know :) just learn enough japanese and try to get a position at sega japan, in which you are able to go to the "secret" sega room (i guess it's just an ordinary room like every other) where all the dreamcast-memorabilia from lost times are stored, including big piles and boxes full of GD-R betas, pre-releases, dee dee planet, software for the propeller arena server and whatnot.

Wow, nice scans! Bit big but still worth a look. I've also never seen or even known about Type X before.

Excellent scans, really looks very nice. Thanks for sharing the great information about Type X: Spiral Nightmare. It was canceled for some reasons, but it is vanished after missing its late 2000 release, just around the same time that Sega started giving up on the Dreamcast.
