Well it probally takes the RROD problem away; so it isnt that big of a waste. Okay it doesnt look that good, well actually it looks horrible. But at least you can play with it :)

God, it looks like the guy killed someone over it, forgot to get the blood off, and decided to watercool it...
In my opinion, it's a waste of a good devkit.

And that was a beta dev kit he did that to:crying:

Looks like a demo kit.
Anyway, seeing that it's one of those early ones, it's probably for the better if he's planning to use it anyway.
I've seen some of the oldest ones die infront of my face recently. Though, those have had more milage than the average family car used for vacations all over Europe (Now we're both speaking use and amount of travel).

Thats cool! I'am planing to watercool a 360 when I get 1 which I hope is soon. It looks like its open though I wonder why that is? since I notice he bored 2 holes into the back of it to fit the cooling lines in, so why is there a need to leave it open? or is that just his computer with that blue light?
I also wonder weather it runs better do to the fact the chips cool right down? Should put a temp gage in there while he was at it.

I think that he said the case wouldn't fit on with the screws in? I might be wrong, but that's what I make of it.
Oh, and I thought the guy's name was familiar, he's a member on AG, lol.

They could've at least used the Innovatek block, not the nasty Koolance kit.

Damn thats ashame to have done that to a devkit, although ive watercooled retails, i wouldn't go doing that to a devkit without good reason. It would be best left stock un-opened for collecting purposes.

He should have called you to get it watercooled:thumbsup:
Also I can't belive he would do such a thing to a dev kit... Watercooling looks like ass and the paint job has no words to describe it

Hell, that Koolance Exos (Exos2?) isn't even in an ideal location as the heat blown off the radiator would mingle in that shelf area for too long before dissipating outside the entertainment center, thereby pretty much wasting the effectiveness of watercooling.

Haha yeah he should have called me i'd have done a nicer job for him if he really desired watercooling.
I don't know if you think watercooling in general looks crap, but i'm still very happy with the out come of my original all internally watercooled 360, so were many others, it made some good world-wide coverage :)
Heres a couple of pics for those that haven't seen it.

very impressive
Never get tired of seeing that Dano, also Your watercooling might not fit nicley with dev kits, I recall that you put the tank in between the Dvd and the shielding on the back, isnt there a PCB just right there on the dev kits?

Thanks guys, its always good to hear people still like it :)
To be honest i don't know anything about that extra PCB on the devkits, theres a good chance due to the nature of what it is there could be an extra board on a devkit, although i'm really not too sure about that. But none the less, i'm sure there could have been a work around sollution ;)

Nope, there isn't any extra PCB, just a crap load of wires that connect all the components to the side car, if one is attached. They might have added one in the newer devkits, but I'm not sure.
