Is anyone here shelling out for SB LOC?

I have been reading up on this game since before xmas and i now cannot wait!! I have been reading on several other forums that they havent been lucky enough to get one even though they pre-ordered MONTHS ago!!!

Virgin have aparently CANCELED most pre-orders!

Heres hoping i can get ONE! (I pre-ordered 3) :prayer:

If not then there will be mass murder in my local GAME :snipe:

Some bad news for you....

If you didn't pay the £20 deposit or you did but it was after the 3rd March you will not be getting the game + controller. Not sure what the deal is with just the game.

I think you are somewhat mistaken. If you buy Line of Contact all you get is the game. You have to buy the bundle with the original. I'm not sure if they re-released the bundle in Europe though.

No, I am not mistaken.

You can buy Line of Contact bundled with the controller and the original game or you can buy just Line of Contact on its own.

The controller that is coming out this time is slightly different because the buttons are blue instead of green.

No deposit was required to pre-order just the Line of Contact game but a £20 deposit was required if you wanted the controller bundle.

My mistake. Capcom released a reissue of the original bundle (with blue buttons) then LOC separately a week later here in the US.

It would be cool if they did different versions of SB. Like a Gundam version, or a Macross version.

Piloting an RX-78 or a Valkyrie fighter with that controller would kick ass.

They haven't been cancelled but we aren't allowed to buy the game on Friday and have to wait until our regional manager gives authorisation for staff to buy the game.

I pre-ordered *one* copy of the game and so has the other member of staff buying it in our store. No one has been taking the piss and pre-ordering loads of copies to flog on eBay.

I will be angry if I miss out on my copy that I genuinely want to play if it gets allocated to someone ordering multiple copies of the game to sell on.

Anyway what I have been told is that there will be a second shipment of Steel Battalion which will include the staff copies; this is expected to be towards the middle of next week.

Is everyone on here who bought/recieving the game gonna play it or sell it on?

I might get an xbox live starter kit tomorrow and hopefully meet some of you online.......after a few days of trying to move about in the original :smt017
