PM'd.
Found what I'm 99% sure is the controller board for a Hitachi 79 unit for an XBox 360. It had a bad flash some time ago and is essentially dead unless the ability to recover from a bad flash has improved since 2009. I did remove most of the epoxy a while ago so it can be removed and reprogrammed.
IIRC it was from a 79fk but IIRC the entire 79 line can be crossflashed to each other without issue.
I've also got a SH-D162D flashed with Kreon firmware that I can't sell. Free to a good home that will take it for walks, feed it regularly and not hit it with the newspaper when it wets the living room rug from excitement.

Do you have any of the case screws (the long ones) for the original XBOX? I need something like 12-18 of them I reckon :P (to finish fixing old XBOXes people opened and tried to fix, losing the screws before the boxes were passed to me)

I've moved my server and my bloody annoying noisy and dodgy UPS so I've no longer any need for the earthing case I had below it... So I'm offering the Dell Poweredge 2650 case (nothing in it) to anyone that wants it, for free. (Collection only from Hertfordshire, England). I've also got a lot of parts from it; 2 PSUs, 2 PCI Risers with RAID, the LCD front panel, a front bezel. If anyone wants any of these (either with or without the case) then you can collect them for free too. Any takers? If not I'll scrap the metal in the local recycle place.
EDIT: There's also 3 blanking plates (fits poweredge 2650 which they came in and 2950 which I've had them in since, probably fits others too) and all the internal fans. 2 CPUs too, 2.8GHz socket 603 Xeons, and a backplane and 2 VRMs too.

PS1 SCPH-5501. Tested to play Mega Man X4, has an FMV skip problem. Useful for those who'd like play American games yet can't be bothered with mods or boot discs. Obviously it has a 110v power supply. Careful overseas!

I'm not sure if all the parts work, PSUs works, fans works, but no idea about either riser card. You'd need to get a motherboard for it, but I've got RAM and CPUs for it (not sure if the RAM is working or not) and the RAID cache and activation key. Not sure how much the MBs go for but if you want it all, have a look on say ebay.

Hello Guys,
I have a Phat PS3 sitting at home, it works (-ish), boots but doesn't read anything, logic board is fried, I swapped the logic board with another one. But as logic board and main board are married it doesn't work. PS3 is flashed to 3.73 can't downgrade it as a result. The only options for this baby to work is the E3 Flasher to downgrade it or physically swap the security chip from one board to another, I still have the old board :). Either way I don't have time or interest to try to fix it, it's sitting here taking space. Yours free for £15 of shipping in the UK before it goes to the tip at the end of the week.

I have a genuine N64 power supply to suit American voltage (120volt). I bought an NTSC console and asked the seller to NOT send the power supply, anyway they sent it. I have tested it via my stepdown transformer and it works. Just wondering if it is worthwhile to post it back to someone in America for just postage price which would be around $10-15? If not, not sure what I will do with it.

I'm no electrician, but to my understanding any console with an external power supply, with a few exceptions. Don't go mixing and matching everything though, I think there are some external power supplies which aren't compatible with other region consoles, perhaps the SNES? Every NTSC SNES has the same power rating. Yet US and Korea share that unusual plug.
PAL adapter outputs AC, like US NES is infamous for. One to NOT use elsewhere unless fully informed.

Anyone want some free Sega Genesis and Saturn shit? Here's a list. some of it works perfectly, some slightly messed up and others completely dead AFAIK.
2 original Sega Genesis controllers. 1 works other the C button a little buggy. <- GONE.
Working Sega Genesis 6 pack game cart. The one with Revenge of Shinobi, Columns, Super hang on, Sonic 1, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage. <- GONE.
Dead Super Pad 8 for Saturn. May work but it wouldn't for me hence the free thread posting.
Homemade 3 button Genesis joystick controller made from an original model controller. Will be refined to make smaller if interest is shown.
That's all for now. Shipping costs depends if you're close of far away. PM if interested in anything. Gotta get rid of some of the junk piling up around here...

If anyone wants a Sega Saturn save/ram cart let me now. I got one with a white Saturn I bought a while back and can't get it to read. I'm not sure if it's a RAM cart or a save cart as none of my 5 Saturn's can read it. It looks like a save cart but it with with a generic label written i Chinese.
I also have a Saturn mod-chip up for grabs if anyone wants it. I am pretty sure it's a dead chip as it never seemed to let me read copies or originals. It's not the RacketBoy chip, but some other kind. It was in the white Saturn but I removed it. So for my attempts at getting it to work have been unsuccessful.
Both the mod-chip and cart are gone now. That was quick!

I'm moving so it's time to get rid of stuff I'm not going to use anyway. To start with:
1. in a box labeled "SCPH-1002 spares" I found a 220V power supply, controller/memcard port unit and a PU-8 European PS1 motherboard with a modchip installed. I have no clue whether it all works, but if anyone can use it (or part of it) I'll gladly send it out for shipping.
2. homebuilt ghetto-supergun I made years ago. Basically just a JAMMA connector with SCART, audio, power and one DB-15 port soldered. It was pretty sturdy when I made it, but I have no board to test it on now so it's just going for parts.
3. White PS2 controller (Japanese) broken down into parts. Should still work, I believe the R2 button was stuck initially.
Send me a PM, I don't check this topic that often.

- Base unit;
- 20G HDD;
- Video cable.
I've had that system since 2006, served me well, did RROD once, M$ fixed it and it went on until this November.
I've opened it yesterday as I managed to make it boot a few times. Replaced the thermal paste, not much left on the GPU... it worked again for about an hour, I managed to play Assassin's Creed II, DOA 4 and I also updated it to the latest dashboard but then it froze and RROD again... I've not been able to boot it again since then.
I bought a replacement box so I don't really need it, maybe I could have tried more tricks to salvage it but I only need one Xbox 360 ;)
I don't know for how much for shipping yet, but I will get it weighted and priced for the person taking it, shipping in the UK preferably.
Wishing you all a happy new year!!!

Anyone have a spare SATA cable ?

They start from $1.24 at DX (http://dx.com/s/sata+cable). You'd probably pay just about as much when getting one from a member (unless maybe you can find one within walking distance).

Sorry about that. I thought you needed to have 50 posts to sell. It said that you didn't need 50 posts for buying (I thought of asking as the same thing). My mistake.

No problem. You don't need 50 posts to buy, but read the first post in this thread - it says in red you have to have 50 posts to ask for anything offered.
As I said, it's not a place to ask for other items - you can do that in the WTB forum ;)

Anyone want a Xbox component + stereo audio cable? For NTSC consoles and has RCA plugs. Also have a Xbox composite cable with RCA stereo too. Just pay shipping.
Just upgraded to a HD A/V Advanced cable with ALL outputs the NTSC model supports. Dolby digital in form of SPDIF, RCA composite, S video, RCA component, and RCA stereo.
EDIT: The component cable is gone. Composite one still available.

Hi there, got the following items sitting around which I don't want to just dump in the bin as they may be of use to someone else, costs only for shipping, payment through Paypal. I'm currently based in Bulgaria . Shipping costs below. Please PM for requests. Please notice that these are only for spares and may need some repair, paint jobs, etc.
*Europe: GBP 1.30
*US, elsewhere: USD 2.15
*these shipping costs are based in rates up to 150 grs, anything going above I will have to pack and weight to provide with a more proper quote. To be sent by regular mail (no insurance, no tracking; only way to keep costs to a minimum, if prefer to go with registered mail add GBP 1.40 on top of the quote for Europe and USD 2.27 for the US and elsewhere.
- [B]SNES / GameCube AV cable PAL. It may need some work on the video cable, maybe some soldering? To get it to work you have to wiggle it and wiggle it till finally there's picture output to the tv.
- Game Gear sound board. The capacitors have to be changed as you can only get sound out of it by hooking it to loud speakers through 3mm audio jack and it's still barely audible. No leakage looks as good as new. Don't remember if it's from a 1 or 2 ASIC model, I believe it doesn't make a difference anyway.
- GameBoy Color Housing. Some minor scratches, original grape color. Front panel looks pretty decent. All buttons, no rubber pads though, some of the original screws. No battery lid unfortunately. Battery contacts are corrosion free. Maybe good to someone looking to do a custom paint job.
- GameBoy Color loud speaker. Barely audible, however figure that it could be fixed and put to a good use?
- GameBoy Advance SP housing. Some minor dents, scratches, original grey color AGS-001. All buttons, some screws. Maybe good to someone looking to do a custom paint job.
- Sega Megadrive (don't know if fits Genesis cartridges) game plastic case. You know, like a "jewel" case, it has the SEGA logo imprinted inside. Fair condition.

Rules as per first post:

Just correctin'.
Minimum posts to use this area increased to 50.
No asking, no giving. Period.
All posts below the cutoff will be deleted.
Well now, this old post seems to contradict the very first post that simply says "no asking for" anything here, since this post seems to say no asking or offering here unless you've got 50 posts.
Now how is someone supposed to know that without taking a long time to search through all the old posts? Perhaps the first post should be made more clear.

Got a Crystal/See through Xbox one sitting in the loft if anyone wants it for shipping and packaging cost? (in the UK)
I think it has a broken DVD drive (last time I used it, it would boot and play games but they were super slow and jumpy due to the drive seeking over and over again). Was going to get a replacement but never got around to it.
Think I have the matching controller somewhere too but not 100% on that.

Well, its yours. I could ship it, but were talking some serious cash. I don't have a scale, but I would guess it is greater than 20 lbs. Also, the top is a bit scuffed up, but this thing is minty fresh. If you want me to post it, I can. But I would request a large deposit upfront, then refund you the difference from shipping. This could be a problem, since I'm pretty sure that machine doesn't have a battery - it just operates from mains power. It does have a pair of full-length ISA slots in it though, so you could install a DTL-H2000 in it and use it as a portable* PlayStation development system...
*Well, for highly dubious values of "portable", anyway.

Well, I will admit that I've never actually put a DTL-H2000 into one of those machines - but we used to have one at work that had some ancient Altera device programmer cards in it, and they were just as big as the Sony boards. The only "portable" machines they would fit in were one of those Toshibas and a old Dolch 386 box that had a orange plasma display and was even heavier than the Toshiba :smile-new:
