i will try this if no much is know about it, if i took the information from my bleem disk and then run it via emulation via GD workshop would i be able to boot a ps1 game, it it seems to work you could then have a bleem GD-r for ps1 games on a HKT-01

Interesting, but to what end? I mean for £3-5 you can simply buy a PS1 at some thrift store or junk shop, perhaps a carboot sale. On the other hand, why go to the length of producing a GDr to run Bleem on a development kit, when a CDr of Bleem (illegal as it would be) would run on a retail unit? Just curious, that's all.

Bleems (not the beta) has some kind of hardcore security on it. So I doubt that the files accept to run.

Bleem got some hardcore protection, including but not limited to bad sectors and data in the the 1st and 2de session in the lead-out. I actaully managed with a great dc hacker to amke a bootable backup of BC!GT2, but it can't boot gt2.

But using a swap method between th backup and the origianl right before the last 2 checks are done, it can boot the ps1 game.

If you want more info on it : http://forums.segakatana.com/viewtopic.php?p=1311#1311

You'd never ba able to make it run on a devkit really... beside being god or something, mabe the beta would works but for the originals retails, you'd need a mil-cd compatible hkt-01.

You could still use a gd-m of dc-load and transfer the 1st_read.bin of a program that loads selfboot games in the ram then switch the devkit to gd-rom mode with the bleem disc inserted, but i've never seen a "loader" for selfboot games. This method works with the non-boot games using utopia and mark300001 played his own backup of nfl blitz some months ago using this method.
