Query about Net Yaroze DTL-S3030 disc

Does anyone know what Development disc for the Net Yaroze number DTL-S3030 does? It's the black disc on the right. Regrettably (as usual) the Japanese translation provided by Google leaves a lot to be desired: "It just says maneuver disc Japanese".

Anyone familiar with them or able to translate please? One seems to be a Japanese copy of Net Yaroze PC software, so is the other just a Japanese boot disc?

I don't have the disc so can't test anything, just curious as I know someone who has it and it doesn't appear to do anything, just requests the access card, which apparently is inserted - which suggests it IS a boot disc, but the unit might have a fault as that's all it does. Just want confirmation. Thanks!

-hl718Yep, it's a boot disc. If it's getting as far asking for the access card, the CD must be OK - I'd suggest trying the access card in the other memory slot & see if that works. Failing that, try a normal memory card in there & make sure that it can be read.

I think the ports have gone on his Net Yaroze :-(

Will see whether he has other material he can test, such as a standard title and make a games save to test.

If he's looking to sell then I'd buy it. I've been looking for a japanese yaroze for a while.
