Net Yaroze vs win2k?

Hopefully an easy question for folks here - can the PC-side Net Yaroze software be succesfully installed & run from a DOS window under win2k? Or must one dig up an old win95/98 box for the serial port to be properly seen?

BTW, I wasn't sure if this question was best placed in Sony Dev, or PC questions, so apologies if this is deemed to be the wrong forum.

The communication utility won't work under 2k, you can use the one from Codewarrior instead or a 3rd party version called psxcomm(GUI) or minicons(commandline only), both are on the official yaroze website.
