help , need ptach tool for Test PS2

hi !


i just recived my test PS2 ( dtl-H30002) , its plays retail games fine and even PS1 CDr , but no PS2 backups.

i heared that some kind of patching is necessary , is that true ?


and hints for me ? :D

You'll need Loser's patcher - not sure where it's currently officially hosted, but I last saw it mentioned in this thread: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9046&highlight=losers

Question, does it patch the other way? Ill have a beta disk on the way that is for a Test console.

Anyone? Hate to be a rush, but the disk came today. Can definitely tell its unfinished, most of the .wav files in the music folder are placeholders hah

basically there are no need to patch master copy to normal one,
regular ps2 will not accept DVD-R,
modchiped ps2 doesnt care master copy or "normal backup"...

Yup a modded PS2 will work just fine.I booted a beta ps2 game in my modded ps2 with no problems at all.

Great, I should have realize they were CD games hah. Working fine now :) Some definite differences.
