Kinda rude to say "What did you have to gain from that". Even if you did think that. Anyone who has it in them to release something like this should be commended, especially something of this sort of value.

If you paid for it then you can do what ever you want with it, which includes hoarding. So neither releasing nor hoarding are "wrong" in the sense of the word as I feel you are trying to use it. And if someone has made a purchase in this field, no one has a right to tell them what they should or should not do with it, unless it was previousy stippulated in said purchasing agreement.
