Being a runner, I'm definately interested in the Track And Field events, mainly the 5K, 10K, and the marathon. :smt023

Also, soccer interests me just because it's so huge the world over.

slightly on the topic, has anyone ever been to the Olympics, or even seen the torch pass through their town or anything? I remember seeing the torch go through Eugene Oregon for the Winter 2002 Olympics, that was really really cool. ^__^

When I was a child I used to love the long Jump so I'll go for that.

Womens gymnastics or volleyball, mens basketball and track and field events. No much for the swimming or diving, well maybe the womens events. :smt023

I saw a shitload of tourists for the 2000 Nagano Olympics, and even more for the World Cup 2 years later.

The Winter Olympics were held in my city in 1988. I remember it quite well.
