bluriness is no problem , but do you think alot of people will put it in jewel boxes ? i`m not realy sure :/

Obviously not, most of those are broken and even if not you still have to get the original game out, which may cause damage to both disk and the manual.

Make it DVD case sized, since is the closest thing available.

I really like that cover, very original!

Only thing to improve would be the blank aura around sonic and the enemy.

oh no , that was actually a sonic goodie you could order in japan , its paperwork.

designing 3d objects is far beyond my knowledge :(

btw , do you have a japanese logo for me ?

for me , i realy like the hand made covers , i`m not so good at this so i`m useing existing pictures to make a cover. its not about winning the competition , i just enjoy working a little with PS :D

I actually downloaded that 3d Paper art thing and am looking for a suitable high quality paper to build it with, Pretty cool.

Barcode I like your cover, but it's just not extreme in any way. Minimalist and X-treme just don't mix to well.

firstly the hands down winner in my opinion is yourtoms one from above, heres my unworthy effort, felt like a kid again in a drawing competition. i went for a classic goldy oldy look took the cover because it`s an older system which is aging gracefully (hopefully)

That one is my favourite, because of the subtitle. And because of the correct spelling of our forum. ASSEMbler, but if other also corrected the name of the forum, then it would be just as smashing. So in reality, I have no favourites, they are all great.

There was one other variant i did with a large pencil coming from the right of the cover with the eraser at sonics stomach. wasnt too sure about using the sonic x-treme logo ppl have been using as i wasnt sure if someone here had created it.

right this is my last attempt, it`s a US longbox and i`ve left room for additional text in the darker box. ain`t the best but it`s fun making em. this is my more simplistic approach one. the image can easily be shifted, sonic resized and the sonic x-treme logo made parallel.

I'm busy with shit outside the internet right now. I did fix something with the logo a few weeks ago but haven't updated this thread with it. Let me get the fixed version.

Click the image for a vector version of the file. If you're using Photoshop go to File > Place and select shitlogob.ai and you can resize it to any size you'd like while maintaining it's appearance.

My gripe with the logo I've made and many of the box arts here is that they don't have anything to do with Xtreme. I wanted to remake the Xtreme logo but I hadn't gotten around to it and now I've got some shit I'm trying to sort outside the internet. Add the fact that I'm fairly depressed and have migraines as soon as I get up in the morning or shortly after have made the past few weeks nerve racking. Please shoot me.

Yeah I remember that from the first SA2 screens: all the crazy sonic fans out there were yelling at ST for making sonic look more manly, and even made a petition for SEGA to change it...

Sonik: I like the style of that piece, but the face looks wrong to me. The eyeballs are too tall, not round enough and there's too large of a piece connecting both eyes in the middle. in the winrar file, there are the covers folder and the winners are in their own folder within that called "winner" so it will say cover/usa/winner/title.jpg for example. I won the Japanese catagory.

no, there WERE winners. I gues whichever one assembler liked most. The release has "WINNER" folders with a single image in that marking it the winner.

So when I downloaded the Xtreme rar I noticed mine was the only complete cover (front/back/spine).

I'd love to do it myself but I'm not sure Seashore is enough of an editing program to do it properly.
