I should have posted here first. I'm sure someone here will know.

I came across some Sega Saturn cdrs marked LUN1 and LUN2 and were with a stack of working designs protos.I think I found some Saturn protos of Lunar. Were any Lunar titles released on the Saturn in Europe or Japan? I need to find a Saturn and get some pics up.

Yeah, both of them were, along with Lunar Magic School. Dunno about Europe though.

And let's not forget Luna Complete which is the MPEG version. Luna was a Sega only game until Game Arts ported them to PSX. The originals, Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue were both Mega CD games.

That's right, the Lunar Complete one needed the VCD Card thingy for Saturn didn't it? I still need to find me the Sega CD ones, I only played the US PSX ones (seeing as I can't read Japanese...) when I was a kid and loved them.

Yeah, I have Lunar complete and inde3ed it won't run unless you have the VCD card installed. I bet the sales of that game were pretty low. Does look very nice running though with the VCD card.

"Better than the PSX's full screen FMV" I was always told. A series I always wanted to play.

nevermind...

It appears to be Lunacy and just by chance it was in with a stack of working designs protos.

I've always had an attachment to Albert Odyssey.
One of my favorite RPG's.

Buyatari - I don't get it, you are posting exactly the same messages on multiple forums.

I've just read this exact message on Digital Press and some of your other "Prototype" finds messages (ie. the Beachhead 2000 one) you posted the same message to at least 3 different forums - DP, AtariAge & here.

Sharing the love I guess!

That's just it. Some of us don't read Digipress or Atari Age so it's great that Buyatari also posts here

Unfortunately, none of the Lunar games were ever released in PAL format on the Saturn.

Hey the more people who know you have something the more offers you get!

Besides I often get asked do I have this and do I have that. My reply is when I find it I'll post it. Well 2 years later I forget who asked so its easier to post on whatever forums I think I was asked on.

Yes the LUN1 and LUN2 Saturn disks turned out to be .......

The Albert Odyssey discs were also for the Saturn. Didn't get far but it looks like work in progress as the voices were not English. Title screen says SUNSOFT? Thought this was a working designs game.

Alundra turned out to be PS1

Lunacy is supposed to be a pretty cool game. Don't know anything about Albert Odyssey.

Working Designs only ported games.

Glad you finally found them! You'll have to let me know what you're after for them - still interested.
