"Big Mac and fries please"
What do you call a Chavette in a white tracksuit?

What the hell is a chav and a chavette? :smt017
I've heard the police one before, but the people being driven were of an ethnic group easily understood the world over, and I think there was some sort of racial slur involved too....

Err, that's odd, as that descrption matches the preppie crowd here in the US - not quite the ones to be picked up by the cops a lot or anything... :smt017

See a difference is your preppie crowd run oround in daddys BMW with a £10,000 cash card.
Here they run around buying up fake clothes, smooking weed, trying to look hard and robbery!
Hence they arent very much liked!

Burberry-wearing muppets are all over the place these days. Mostly just cheeky kids with too much time on their hands.
I don't know about the jewelery that site reckons they're wearing though, maybe that hasn't reached my area yet.

I don't think CHAV means black guy. It's just a word used to describe the low lives of the UK. You know, the scum, the brain dead, the Fifa fans :smt043 Anyway, before I met Importaku I had never heard of this word. He told me it was used for anyone that resembled those in the above list. In Liverpool where I originally come from they are called Scallies or is that spelt Scallys? Who knows and who cares ! Anyway, I normally call those people Gob Shites :smt033 Because that's what they are.

Burb is old news... evisu is old news the new rage is von dutch...Someone should tell the lads in my town that, they've not yet made a full transition to Burberry. We're kind of out of the beaten track of fashion here though, mid-Wales just doesn't have its finger on the pulse ^_^
Incidentally, "chavs" round here are generally called townies, scallies, or "fucking arseholes" if you've got any sense.

Tsk. It derives from 'charva/charver'', which is a Newcastle/North East term for scallies/townies/neds/*insert local variation*. For some reason it's lost the 'r' and 'a/er' when going national.
