Yeah, not exactly game related, but I don't have anywhere else to turn to. Two laptops for sale, need the money for various things. Willing to cut a deal.

**Update: The first two are no longer available, but the two home computers still are.

Few new items:
First Computer: Green iMac
http://howell-games.com/IMAG0150.JPG
Overall good computer. Comes with Mac OS X as well as the box. Also has some good buisness software on it. Asking around 500 for it (Includes shipping).

Second Computer: Dell Dimension 4300
You can see it in the screenshot. Not in good physical condition, but runs well. Asking about 400 for it.

If money does get tight, I may look at selling a few of my consoles/rare games.

Unfortunatly, I don't have the means to register on ebay right now. (Have to have a debit or credit card. While I have a debit card, it doesn't work for some reason on ebay, and I don't have a credit card. Also can't use my email, already tried.) Thats why I am offering them here, and on Amazon.

What are the specs of the Dell?

Jasonkhowell

Oh god...to tell you the truth, I don't remember. I bought the computer 3 years ago, so I know very little about most of the specs. In terms of what I do know:

-It is a Pentium 4
-It had XP home edition
-It has a CD burner

I'll have to look at the specs info on the actual machine to post it. In the meantime, you can look up DImension 4300 on the dell website, and see what it tells you.

Just a small note: All computers are still available

If those really are the specifications on the Alienware I'll take it at $600.
I assume it's in reasonable condition with it's restore discs correct?

He may (or may not) still have (or never had) the Alienware laptop.
He outright REFUSED to take PayPal or any other semi-legitimate payment service and would only take my personal credit card information or Western Union who allows people to traffic drug money untraced.
I skipped out on the deal when he also refused to let me use escrow.com even as I was paying the Escrow fees AND a bit extra for the two extra days I'd have to inspect the laptop.
But I know he wanted to sell it fast (didn't want to wait two extra days for escrow) so he probably doesn't have it anymore.

Not to knock the seller, but the advert hardly inspired confidence:

<mis-quote>
"I don't know the spec, but here's a spec from a laptop that looks the same"
</mis-quote>

Sort of thing.

I wouldn't buy a computer from someone who couldn't/wouldn't find out the specs.

He outright REFUSED to take PayPalAny reason given?

No offence meant, but you're outta your freakin' mind with the iMac price regardless of the specs. You can get a refurb 1GHz G4 eMac directly from Apple with a larger screen for another $50 in the US.

Come to think of it I don't remember exactly why he wouldn't take PayPal but he persisted that Western Union and my personal credit card info were the only means I could pay... o.O
