View Full Version : Shanghai Dynasty USA?

I was going through a stack of protos on my Dreamcast and I found this one. As far as I know it wasn't released in a US version. The disk is marked USA but I couldn't tell if it is different from the Japanese version in any way as I don't own the Japanese version. On the Japanese version is the text in English?

It came from an employee who left Activision USA awhile back.

Is this the shogi game you are talking about? If so I'll see if I have it and check to see if the Japanese version has English or Japanese text.

It turned out that I didn't own that game so I bought it today while out hunting for deals. I haven't triedthe game on my DC yet but from the screen shots in the instruction book everything is in Japanese right from the title screen mode selection. So it looks like you do have a real proto unless someone did a fan translation :p

I don't want to say how I know for sure in public but it is no fan translation. This is a real prototype. Lets just say I got this cookie directly from the cookie jar.
