WinXP question: prevent a user from changing wallpaper?

I need to fuck w/ some guys at work. I own their Linux boxes, but freakin' XP has no way (that I know of) to limit even a non-Admin user from changing their wallpaper. Can anyone help?

take a screenshoot of their desktop, erease all the shorcut and put it as a wallpaper and they'll think their pc is frozen, and if their pc has problems and needs to restard frequently do this :

If your co-worker needs to constantly reboot his computer because of crashing applications, why not give him a helping hand with a shortcut that will restart his computer in his Startup folder? Here's how in Windows XP.


Right-click the Start menu.
Select Explore Users.
Navigate to Programs > Startup.
Right-click the file windows and select New > Shortcut.
When the window pops up asking for the location, enter "%windir%system32shutdown.exe -r -t 00."

Assembler's idea works. I still think if the user is clever enough, he can use the "set image as background" option from Internet Explorer. PERahps I should search for a reg change for that.

Apparenlty it was some hermaphidite picture that will scar you for life. Luckily I have never seen it. Tub girl is bad enough :smt022

GaijinPunch, be happy you have never seen it. It will seriously stick in your brain for a long long time. It's a picture of a man (not sure where the hermaphrodite idea came from) bent over facing away from the camera and stretching his arse out to a size that could have possibly accomodated a volleyball. The site that the picture originally appeared on was a bit of a trick - when you navigated to it, you were met with a little warning about how the picture was graphic, yadda yadda yadda, and in the meantime while you were reading this, the picture was loading. In a couple of seconds, as you are still reading this agreement, the picture just pops up to the forefront of the screen and catches you off-guard. Horrifying, at best.

And I won't even go into Tubgirl.... *shudder*
