I bought a Digital Camera off eBay - it arrived today (I paid Monday - no complaints with shipping times).
I set it all up, however hooking it up with the USB Windows XP does not automatically detect it (on all 3 computers in the house) which is odd as it usually knows when a new USB device is connected.
I then proceed to install the drivers + software - camera still does not show up in windows.
I boot up the software to connect to the camera to download some sample pictures I had taken - "error connectiong to the camera. please use the troubleshooting guide in the user's manual" :smt022
I browse the user's manual - there is no troubleshooting section whatsoever -_-
It seems like generic HK piece of shit - the box, manual + camera all have no manufacturer identity , brand name, phone # or website.
I have asked the seller for more details on how to correctly set up the camera to allow me to downlaod pictures - however he has not replied yet, and if he doesn't reply this time next week I will be a bit miffed.
In the event I do not get a reply or offer of a refund or exchange how would I go abouts issuing a PayPal chargeback? I don't want to leave it too close to the end of the 30 day buyer protection to process the claim.
Help, anyone? :smt017
