Looking for MS Visual Studio 97 SP3 (Service Pack Installer Only)

Hey, I'm looking for the MS Visual Studio 97 SP3 (Service Pack Installer Only with support for Visual C++ 5).

It seems like it's no longer available on Microsoft's site. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can get the latest Visual Studio 2005 Express for free on Microsoft's site. Wouldn't it help?

Doesnt work with most dev kits. I know my XDK disks ask for VS6 i believe

Unfortunately the WinCE SDK for Dreamcast 1.0 only works with VC++ 5 (Already tried version 6). I've looked on Microsoft's site and the full Service Pack (which supports VC++5) is around 90 MB. It's not there as a download anymore...

You have to find the old Microsoft´s mirrors, like this one:

This set of download files consists of VSSP3_1.EXE, VSSP3_2.CAB, VSSP3_3.CAB, VSSP3_4.CAB, VSSP3_5.CAB, VSSP3_6.CAB, VSSP3_7.CAB, VSSP3_8.CAB, and VSSP3_9.CAB (approximately 10 MB each). Download/setup instructions:



Download each file by clicking on it's link. You must download all files to one directory on your hard drive.
Expand the service pack by running VSSP3_1.EXE (double-click the file from your Windows Explorer, or to see potential error messages, run it from a MS-DOS prompt). This will create the directory Vs97_sp3.
Run SETUP.EXE from the Vs97_sp3 directory to install the service pack.
