In what has to be rank as one of the worst video game intros ever, I present
to you the intro for the cancelled Acclaim version of Juiced.

Originally planned as "Juice", the game was renamed to "Juiced".

Features:
Mediocre rappers
Lame CG effects
Some of the worst blue screening ever.
Sparkling lyrics such as "Tits up foot down pedal to the floor".

This video is sure to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy all over.

For the ultimate collector, we are now aware that someone, somewhere, has

Not really. Beyond Good and Evil intro presented you with a screen that said Spanish or English and would not let you see the Title screen ever unles you choosed. So in half the stores that showed the game off they probably had that running all day long.


That my freind was distasteful, un artistic and another way to get the blakie to buy into something or is obviously aime for kids. I mean that movie with the bikes is stupid along with Too fast too Furious in Japan with the not so GoGo Girls.


Lets not forget That Twin movie and Empire. Personally I liked the Intro besides the slang music that dribbles blarg blarg we iGGaS can't speak shist. Also the fact that the woman had some ugly pair of lips and was reallhy too fat to be in any game or a drag queen or whatever.

Also the game itself was just a racing game so I don't get what Rap has to do with this or Racing. The song did metion some racing but was geared to kids and featured stereo types.

Also before my computer froze I saw the girl( Whatever fatty ) next to some extra darkskinned guy.

That is up there with stupid but not the worst intro. Now I am being realistic when I say BG&E has the worst intro and I am not lying about that :Girl:

It seems redundant to me, but since you appear to be disagreeing: white suburban kids do buy chavy street racer games too. I'd be surprised if they didn't account for the majority of sales, they almost certainly would in the UK. These games hardly sum up European gaming, either - where did Need for Speed Underground come from? For that matter the whole rap/hip-hop thing?

And how could Juiced possibly have anything to do with a new Secret of Mana - a series of RPG games made in Japan? You do realise that there was a new Secret of Mana game released for DS about a month ago?

I mean, she has absolutely no skill what so ever and her accent really shows through far to much for anyone in the US to take this even semi seriously.

I guess I'm leaning toward racial stereotyping. It seems that just because she is black, they thought that it would be well received by the modern day rap/hip hop community.

I think the absolutely dreadful CG is colouring peoples views a bit much here.

Shystee is a well respected emcee. And grime isn't meant to be like American rap. Grime and its instrumental cousin Dubstep are an evolution of Drum & Base, the first original genre of music to originate in the UK.

Dizzee Rascal has sold a fair few records in the US. They're definately interested. Dubstep is starting to garner a fairly healthy international scene as well. Frankly, proper independant music is a nice change from all that gangster bullshit that dominates the US charts. All their better artists like MF Doom never sell more than 100k.

Molloy has already written everything the uninitiated need to know about the UK rap scene, which has many unique sub-genres (such as grime) that aim for the same market Acclaim was clearly targetting. Of course, the "chav" phenomenon and Britain's growing knife/terrorism culture echoes the darker side of what has already been experienced in the US, but despite not being a huge fan I have no reason to knock what Juiced tried to represent - even though it's unlikely such styles will be placed next to other more successful and well known fashions in retrospect over the next few generations!
